We spent the day visiting the beautiful beaches; Hunts Point, Summerville and Carters beach and then had a lovely stay at the Best Western in Liverpool. Very clean, comfortable room and bed, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The upgraded internet service and TV were greatly appreciated. We will be back.
Spent a week here and overall a great experience. Rooms are spacious, and albeit not the most modern furniture/decor; they are clean and comfortable. Shower heads were a little finicky but pressure was good, water was hot, bathrooms were clean. A couple recommendations, the fitness centre could use some maintenance (weight machine guide rods need to be lubricated with some 100% silicone oil and some of the cables need replacing). As well a heavier assortment of dumbbells would be nice. Gyms are a primary reason when choosing a hotel for me especially if I'm going to be there for a while. Additionally with how spacious the rooms are they should definitely have their own microwaves. Though the breakfast area does have a microwave it's definitely a hassle to have to go down every time you need to reheat some food - or you heat your food up get back to your room and then have to go back down to the microwave if your food isn't fully warmed. It would also be nice to have a bit more control over the thermostats, I think the coldest you could set was around 17-18 degrees which is not very comfortable if you run hot while you're sleeping. Front desk staff is excellent and very professional and easy to deal with. I would stay here again in the future but those few changes as mentioned above would make the stay a 5/5 stars!
So, I'm just getting around to this review, but I was there a few months back for a work thing. The room was good, you know, clean, quiet and all that. But I'm only giving it three stars because they didn't refill the soap and shower gel. Plus, the sink was partially clogged. Seriously, I think they should be on top of those basic things when people check out. The staff were cool though, they provided handwash right away when I said something.
