It is always great to be in pattaya. The hotel has been a great place for us to stay when I have a go kart competition in bira go kart. The hotel is very convenient and near many things. The rooms are big and very modern with very nice bedrooms. The restaurant has very good food and lots of ice cream. The value for money is absolutely fabulous.

My first time here and the first impressions were very positive. Good variety of food within few minutes walk of the hotel. 7 Eleven just next door, Big C express in a petrol station few minutes walk away. Love the private parking with a guard. Mattress is firm, great shower. Not happy that toothbrush and comb are not provided. Reception crew very polite and friendly. Baffled why the toilet is see through.

Our stay at Best Western Plus Nexen Pattaya was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were hit with a horrible, industrial construction smell that only got worse in the room. It wasn’t just unpleasant, it was nauseating. Within minutes, our throats were burning, our heads were spinning, and we genuinely felt sick from whatever fumes were in the air. This is a health hazard, not a hotel. The room itself was no better. Multiple things were broken: the light switches didn’t work properly, the bathroom door jammed, and parts of the furniture looked like they were held together with glue and prayer. One of the chairs had a sharp metal edge sticking out, which could’ve easily caused injury. And the smell, dear god, the chemical stench from the construction somehow seeped into everything. Even the pillows reeked. We had to sleep with a mask on and the balcony door open just to breathe. But of course, outside wasn’t peaceful either, loud construction noises early in the morning made it impossible to rest. There was no advance warning about any of this on the website. I don’t know how this hotel qualifies as a “Best Western Plus.” This was more like a half-finished building they rushed guests into without caring about their safety or comfort. We checked out early and would’ve left the same night if we could’ve found anything else available. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy sore throats, headaches, and sleeping in what feels like a chemical factory. Best Western should be ashamed to have their name on this.
