We stayed one night at the hotel on our roadtrip in France and this was the best place to stay in Paris given we were driving and didn't mind being a bit further from city centre. In terms of the good, the following are the highlights: 1) The hotel offered us an upgrade to the business floor despite coming with a pet which other hotels don't usually do. The room was not too spacious which was expected being located in Paris but had all the amenities we needed. 2) The shower room was clean and I loved the option to play the radio in it which was a good feature. 3) Breakfast was great and had both a continental option and full English which we were free to select. 4) All areas were pet friendly and no one made a fuss over an occasional bark. 5) Parking was free in their underground car park and it was safe with convenient access to the lifts. The not so good: 1) The air conditioning was not powerful enough. We stayed on a not too particularly hot day which was around 23c but the A/C didn't sufficiently cool the room by bedtime which was disappointing. 2) The kettle wasn't working but we used the coffee machine which was an ok alternative. Overall, very good hotel with loads of amenities. Highly recommended if you're travelling with pets or for business.
We stayed here in June. The room’s AC wasn’t working properly and the front desk staff dismissed our concerns, saying most hotels in France are like this, which isn’t true based on my stays at other hotels in Paris. One of the rooms was uncomfortably hot, and no effort was made to resolve the issue or escalate it to a manager. I also emailed them after checkout and never received a reply. Also, a heads-up for families: they couldn’t accommodate 5 people in one room, so we had to pay for two rooms. It’s shocking that a hotel chain like Best Western can’t handle a family of five in a single room setup, especially when traveling in an expensive city like Paris. Very disappointing stay overall.
I’m very disappointed with my stay for business reasons. I forgot an expensive thing in the room - the respond was, that nothing was found, what is impossible. So in my opinion I was robbed by the staff and there was no response or action taken by the manager. This lack of concern and assistance is unacceptable for me! I will never go there again.
