Best Western Plus The Tudor Box Hill

The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. I've stayed quite a few times and the sheets have always been clean and the water hot. In summary, good value.

Not happy! Worse service ever Booked a queen spa suite only to be told it wasn’t ready when we arrived and we needed to wait another 30 minutes. After waiting I was given the keys to a queen room no spa. When I questioned this the lady said I give you first available so you can go in room quicker. I asked about the difference in price between the rooms as I’d already paid and it was just unavailable No refund of the difference nothing The room was dingy and smelt musty and the 1900’s air conditioner just forgot about it. I know they say you get what you paid for, but I didn’t even get that in this case.

Avoid This Place at All Costs This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The Best Western Tudor Hotel in Box Hill is an absolute disaster. The staff clearly don’t know how to manage the place – half the time no one is even at the reception desk, and the front door is locked with no way to get help. The facilities are falling apart or just don’t work, and the whole place feels dirty and neglected. On top of that, the environment is sketchy – it felt like I was surrounded by drug users and long-term stayers who made me feel really unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless you enjoy feeling uncomfortable, unsafe, and ignored.
