Best Western Premier Castanea Resort Hotel

Very quiet location, has a golf course, spa, bar and a restaurant. The staff is nice. The food in the restaurant is not so great but there's plenty of other options around in the area. The WiFi in the rooms was not working for a few days but the receptionist gave great alternatives. Plenty of free parking space available and rooms are spacious. The rooms have great furniture, bathroom is well built. Can't complain about anything. I travel a lot and this was one of the better hotels.

Great hotel in Adendorf, one of the northern outskirts of Lüneburg. The room I had was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. Did neither use the spa area nor the restaurant for dinner. Therefore, I cannot not comment on this. The breakfast was standard. Bottomline is a very good hotel to stay if usage of the spa area is planned. For just an overnight stay is the price I paid too high.

We arrived by car and free parking space was plentiful. The staff were welcoming but everybody seemed a bit tired. We stayed at a suite and I was disappointed to see that it was dirty. The toilet looked like it was greeted with a shotgun. There was dust and dead insects everywhere. The drapes were filthy and full of holes. It was also really hot inside, it felt like the air wasn't circulating at all. I think the ventilation wasn't working. Breakfast variety wasn't too big but ok quality. The room and the hotel have aged like milk. It's in desperate need of renovation. The best part for me was leaving the hotel.
