Best Western Premier CMC Girona

Minuses: phone in the room did not have cable haha, so it was impossible to use it to call reception. Safe instruction was wrong (click M, but on the safe there was not button “M”). But hotel looks really, really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, we slept really good on the bed. They allowed to stay with our dog for extra payment. We really appreciate that we were able to enjoy the day in Girona with our dog. 25min of the amazing walk to the city center and all Of the atractions.

Good hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Only reason there’s no five stars is because we were given a room key to someone else’s room. Second room provided the room key didn’t work. Not ideal having arrived late in the evening. Otherwise our stay was pleasant enough.

The Best Western Premier CMC Girona is located in the south of Girona. It has a parking garage that can be challenging for larger cars or for those unfamiliar with rental cars. The rooms are outdated, lacking modern means to charge devices including USB ports for charging mobile phones. As for the location, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to the historic city center or a 15-minute walk to the train station/ bus station. It can also be accessed by bus, which takes approximately 15 minutes. The positive side of this is that for those who rent a car, it is easy to get in and out of town. Additionally there are public parking spots (look for those with white lines) nearby. The breakfast buffet also serves a good variety of items - cooked eggs, Spanish tortilla, bacon, sliced cheese & jamón, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, juices and wine. There is also a small fitness room and wellness room (reservation required to use the wellness). Definitely recommend for it being clean and for it’s location (ideal for those renting a car who want to come in and out of town easily) and who do not care about modern / updated rooms.
