Lots of things convenient to the hotel. Several bakeries, coffee places and restaurants close by. Metro stop very close and Gare du Nord a short walk away. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The greatest pleasure were the staff. They always said hello and asked if we were enjoying our stay. The true test came when the air conditioner began to have problems. Alix, the manager, could not have been nicer! She really took all steps to fix it and kept us informed. (Our stay was during a] very hot period in Paris.) She moved us to new rooms as soon as they were available. Other gestures like they had cold lemonade for the guests to drink on the hottest days. All the staff were awesome and they truly earned five stars!! It made our stay there one of the best.

Was a nice place the staff was wonderful. The staff was helpful and their English was great, pretty helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit. In Paris the places are small In which the reviews stated, it was nice and clean. The bed fit us pretty good for a 5ft 4 person and a 6ft person 😊. The metro was literally 2 min. away( talk about happy). The staff wrote down directions for us because we have difficulty reading the the stops ( we finally got it on the last day of our trip😂).

I have had the worse customer experience ever at the Faubourg 88 hotel. I booked and paid for a superior room on February 2025 for a 4 nights over the Easter weekend in April. I booked the room using the chat service offered by Faubourg88 hotel as it was easy and fast to use. I wanted to book a room for me, my wife and our 2 years old baby. I wanted to book a classic room but the AI system told me that I needed to upgrade it to a supervisor room in order to comply with the French law because they were considering our baby as an adult guest. So I upgraded it to a superior room paying slightly more (800 euros). They confirmed it was ok for the 3 of us so I proceeded to the payment. However, on the day of arrival (2 months after) at 13:30 they sent me an email saying only the booking was for 2 people, no more information (I m happy to share also that email here with the time and content). I arrived at the hotel at 4:30m on Thursday the 17th of April. During the checkin I was told at the reception that my booking was wrong. The hotel manager told me that I should have booked an executive room instead or 2 rooms (which would have been still ridiculous for a 2 years old baby). I did show them the chat conversation that I had with their booking system to confirm that I was right. And I was right indeed. The manager finally blamed their own booking system. But as a result I was left without a room, with a 2 years old baby and no solution offered by the hotel except for them offering help to find another room at another Hotel. I needed to to find another hotel, paying double for the same room that I could have booked 2 months earlier and all the stress that this situation caused me. The faubourg 88 manager offered to refund my money. But I ended up paying more than 1200 euros to find another room somewhere nearby. They did not offer to pay anything despite it was their system fault. When I asked why they did not let me know about their system fault before nobody had an answer! If they were just letting me about that at the time of booking or also couple of days after I would have had all the time to arrange for another accommodation. I ended up not able to choose the hotel I wanted but only choosing what was left available last minute, spending a fortune, and very distressed. Please stay away from the Best Western Hotels in Paris
