It was the first time we stayed at this hotel and will came back in the future. It was a lovely experience. The staff members were nice especially the lady from the spa, Simona very helpful thank you. The food was amazing It was a bufet. The room was clean and was a view inside the garden and it was a lovely weather. We recommend anyone to stay here. The pool, sauna and steam room are working fine and it was a nice experience. Please note the jacuzzi is not working.
Perfect night away. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the shower is brilliant. The pool is warm, perfect if you have children. A really good choice for breakfast. All staff we spoke to were friendly and welcoming.
Spa Package Review – Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa Unfortunately, our overnight spa experience at Heronston didn’t quite live up to expectations. Upon arrival, we were told there was no running water in the hotel due to plumbing issues – not the most relaxing start, though they did say a plumber was working on it and it was eventually fixed but we’re in limbo as to whether they would have to close the hotel. Our room was lovely and the beds were genuinely comfortable, so credit where it’s due there. However, the spa facilities were a letdown. The sauna and steam room were both out of order, and the jacuzzi was also not working. For a package marketed as a “spa getaway,” this was disappointing to say the least. The full body massage, which we were really looking forward to, was… mediocre at best. Therapist was lovely, however It just wasn’t up to standard that I’m used to. It lacked the attention to detail you’d expect from a proper spa treatment and I walked away still feeling stiff and full of knots. Dinner was probably the highlight – the soup, although very watery, had decent flavour, and the kitchen did sort out a replacement when I had to send my steak back due to it being rare when I’d asked for medium-well. Breakfast the next morning was just okay. Most items were greasy and seemed to be swimming in oil. All in all, this isn’t somewhere I’d book again. While the price may seem appealing, you really do get what you pay for. I’d rather spend a bit more next time and have a proper spa experience with working facilities and better quality treatments. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
