Best Western Premier IB Hotel Friedberger Warte

I was lucky to stay here two times. Each time we received a very kind welcome and were able to stay in comfortable, well-equipped rooms. The hotel restaurant is a little treasure. Great and substantial meals, with a show kitchen with excellent draft beers. It was a special surprise that the old, traditional German restaurant opposite also belongs to the hotel, where we can enjoy fantastic meals. And the breakfast is perfect. The selection is varied and plentiful. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for excellent and affordable accommodation in Frankfurt.

Mixed Experience – Great Facilities, Disappointing Service The room was clean and well soundproofed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, I was very disappointed with the bathroom amenities. For two people—and especially someone with long hair—one small travel-sized bottle of shampoo was far from sufficient. I wasn’t even able to properly wash my hair. Breakfast was good, but be aware: they start clearing everything exactly at the end time—even water—so make sure to arrive well in advance. The front desk staff was unfortunately quite unwelcoming. They seemed annoyed by any questions, and their attitude did not reflect good customer service. Despite being a loyalty member, I was not offered the free upgrade I was eligible for, nor did they help with booking my points. Additionally, the welcome drink (a glass of champagne) promised in my reservation was not provided. Overall, I give the staff only 1 star. The facilities themselves are very good, especially for those traveling for business, with convenient access to the highway and the U.S. embassy nearby.
