Best Western Premier Park Hotel & Spa

My wife and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. The room was very nice, clean, and the hotel exceeds a four star standard. The breakfast also is exceptional, with fresh oranges to press for juice, a frame of honeycomb, excellent coffee although it was from a machine, all around delicious. The hotel is quiet. The unclothed saunas are not our style so we avoided that section. I was quite unhappy with the man at the front desk. I had booked an offer found in Google Travel directly through the hotels website. The reservation clearly stated that half board was included which means dinner as well as breakfast. The man at the desk kept saying my reservation did not include half board even though I showed him the booking process where it clearly stated half board was included. I booked the hotel partly because of this offer. An agreement in writing should be honored. Sometimes glitches happen but at least some acceptance of responsibility on the hotel's side would have been nice. We ended up going somewhere else for dinner but it left a bad impression on an otherwise very nice stay.

Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel itself isn’t too quiet - you can hear the other rooms around you quite easily sadly. Restaurant was over priced for slightly above average quality of food. Breakfast items took a long time to be refilled and the coffee machine occasionally gave out cold coffee. The rooms were clean, spacious and functional and the gardens are nice to walk around. Car park is disgustingly priced at €8.50 per night. I’d understand if this was in a busy area, there wasn’t parking nearby and the barriers were closed for protection but this is just an easy money making scheme. You can park outside for free on the street. Overall ok - I’ve stayed in a lot better Best Westerns.

Disappointing. The room was ok but bathroom is old, bath is very slippery and dangerous. Staff is incredibly rude and not willing to support. Much worst than what expected.
