Best Western Premier Royal Blue

Hotel staff just entered my room while I was inside without knocking or announcing themselves. Very unprofessional. Very loud location and room - even with windows closed the street music is unavoidable in the rooms and the walls and ceiling are not isolated. Will certainly not come back. Glad it is only one night.

Multiple things gone wrong but the highlight, is their absolute disrespectful customer service, in every single aspect. Details below. Safe to say, would highly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. To start off, we were given a smaller room even though we had booked a bigger one on Booking.com; when we went back to the front desk, she just said that all rooms are the same size. We checked the floor plan and other photos and of course, that was not true and she had lied to us to make us go away, there are bigger double rooms, specifically the one we had already paid for. Next, WiFi was non functional the entire time and front desk would keep saying they would “restart the router”, which seems to be a recurring platitude from what I read in the other reviews. Shower was pretty bad, kept going from very hot hot water to cold every few minutes and it was uncomfortable. However, the worst part was breakfast. We went there at 10, and it’s supposed to be till 10:30. Every tray was empty and stayed that way, with no refills. Please see photo, where even water was not refilled. It was truly a painful experience given the fact that the rates itself were pretty expensive for one night. We mentioned all of this during checkout and we were told that they would contact “upper management” and get back to us. Upper management got back with basic responses with no initiative or action from their side, staying consistent with their theme of just saying something to make us go away. Would highly recommend that no one ever visits this specific location, given how disrespectful they have been through all of it. Seriously, one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel stay.

My recent stay was unfortunately overshadowed by an unpleasant experience upon arrival. I was offered a welcome drink to share with my father, but the barman questioned our eligibility and then escalated the situation by arguing with us and the receptionist, even raising his voice at my father. Despite assurances from the receptionist that the issue would be addressed with the manager, there was no follow-up or resolution. On a positive note, the breakfast staff the next morning were polite and professional, which stood in stark contrast to the treatment we received the previous evening.
