Modern, inviting, welcoming, The Best Western Queens Pforzheim is a medium sized hotel. I would assume they focus mainly on business, not so much family or vacation. Rooms are in excellent condition, spacious, clean. Equipped with hardwoods floors, something I appreciate highly. Beds are very comfy, bathrooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. Only the hairdryers leave something to be desired. Service is extremely welcoming, professional, friendly. Highly attentive and observant. Seminar rooms are well equipped, spacious, well lit and air conditioned. The hotel's strength is it's weak spot, its situated optimally right off the A8 motorway, making it an ideal location. But you really cannot open a window at night. Never mind, thank heaven for air conditioning.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was nice overall, though the beds were a bit too firm (we are finding that to be the norm in Europe). Breakfast was good. The hotel was accessible to the local highways, so it was a good overnight stay on the way to southern Germany.
