Parking is only valet. Common for the area. I went for a birthday party, and the hotel is super nice. How nice? No paper towels in the restroom, because they use cloth napkins nice. Food was great, but portions are the refined portions. You will clear the plate, and wanted for more. But not so little, you'll be starving. All the staff was amazing. Super helpful and nice.
Me and my husband had a spa with massage for my birthday and it was amazing! The mineral pool was soothing to the joints . The service was a 10. The staff caters to your needs.
I recently stayed at The Maybourne Beverly Hills and while the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, the overall experience unfortunately didn’t match the luxury price point or come close to what’s offered at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Room service was a major letdown. I ordered a chicken sandwich that felt like a dry, unseasoned grilled breast with hot sauce slapped on it. The club sandwich was equally underwhelming, served on overly tough sourdough that fell apart immediately. It made for a really disappointing experience considering how high-end the hotel positions itself. The in-room features also missed the mark. The thermostat won’t go below 68°F, which is frustrating on hot days when you’re looking to cool off. Meanwhile, the TV and speaker system above the tub felt oddly placed and had poor audio quality. Even basic features like Google Cast to watch YouTube on the TV didn’t work, despite multiple attempts. Lighting in the room was another issue. It’s either blasting bright or completely off, with very little in between. Some lamps aren’t connected to the master switch at all, so you have to get up to turn them off manually. These are small things, but at this price point, they matter. I’ve also stayed at The Beverly Hills Hotel, and truthfully, it’s not even a comparison. From room functionality to food quality to overall ambiance, BHH delivers a far more cohesive, high-end experience. The Maybourne wants to be the modern alternative and while I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, the execution just doesn’t deliver on the promise of luxury. by: Jeremy Pugh TikTok: @jeremystoomuch Instagram: @jairdoeshair
