This hotel is an absolute gem! Located in a central area with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, it's just a 10-minute walk from both the Colosseum and Termini Station—perfect for exploring the city. What makes this place truly special is its hidden green oasis. The private garden is stunning, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sudden transition from urban energy to serene greenery is unexpected but so refreshing, especially after a long day of sightseeing or travel. Rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-located stay with a unique touch of tranquility, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!
We had high hopes for this place for a 4 night stay since it had such good reviews. It had 2 buildings. Entry was through a big main door just on the main road and then an uphill walk towards the back. The lady took us to a main building where we paid the city tax and then to a smaller building a few minutes walk towards the back area. We got up a dodgy staircase to our room. It said ‘Royal suite’ on the door. When we entered the room, it was clean and looked the way it had been advertised but the loft space was open and we could see all the furniture they had stored there. It was immediately unpleasant to have that sight. I went to the pictures they had advertised and noticed they very cleverly had not taken the roof in that angle so I felt a bit deceived. The room itself was clean. Noise was a big problem even though it was away from the Main Street. The building from where we entered the premises had a party venue and most nights there was a private party there with music. There was a dance studio underneath which again had a lot of noise disturbance. We could literally hear everything going on in the next room which was unpleasant and traumatising. They did not clean the room even once in the 4 nights we stayed. We were told to put a tag on the door if we needed the room cleaned but still no one cleaned the room when we put the tag on day 2. Location was not the best. Colosseum was 17 minutes walk, Roman forum was 15 minutes but the rest of attractions were more than half an hour walk away. Taxis were hard to get. The bus stop outside did not have buses to going to any main tourist attractions. The most annoying part was, after an exhausting day of sightseeing, it took 5 minutes uphill walk to get to the room. Metro station was 6 minutes walk which was convenient. Had a grocery store across the road and some restaurants nearby. All in all, not the best place to stay. Would not stay there again.
ATTENTION: Loud parties until after 4am on (at least) Friday and Saturday nights. We were contacted only days before arrival and told there would, exceptionally, be noise until midnight. In reality, there was thumping techno until after 4am, with no chance whatsoever of sleeping through it. We had the windows closed and the fan on the aircon on its loudest setting to try to create white noise, but it did nothing to reduce the thumping bass. Only stay here if you plan to party every night and go to sleep after 5am. Some irony that they charged us an unadvertised fee of €35 on arrival because our plane landed in the evening, so we arrived at the hotel at 8:30pm, after their 8pm cut-off. The room itself would have been fine, although the bathroom absolutely stunk and was not adequately ventilated, but the noise quite simply ruined our entire holiday - when we did finally get to sleep, we were woken after about an hour by staff arriving to do their jobs. I'm writing this at 4am on a Sunday morning from the hotel. No sign of the music stopping any time soon. Fingers crossed the parties don't last as long on a Sunday night, as we have work on Monday. Maybe the hotel will finally do the right thing and refund us so we can stay elsewhere. Literally anywhere in Rome apart from the middle of a dancefloor of a club would be quieter.
