Bhuwana Ubud Hotel and Farm

We booked a deluxe double room. It was spacious and included a bathtub. The pool was also nice and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We rented a bike from the hotel, including petrol. The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by greenery, and was just 15 minutes from central Ubud. We enjoyed our 3-night stay.

Welcoming reception. Room for three is alright. Extra bed a bit soft. Bathroom needs renovation. Breakfast and service is great. Dinner at the evening in hotel restaurant was ok but would not recommend. Transfer to the city center is great service.

Bedroom was fantastic with gorgeous furniture. BUT! Total letdown by a lot of other things. Main problem was the bathroom. (No pictures because of a personal ick of dingy bathrooms) Extremely dim, strong drain smell, not clean, mold stains on drain, water stains all over the shower glass until it wasn't transparent anymore. Also seemed to be a gap where the sink used to be? There were open pipes in the wall. Not sure if it's because rooms were renovated before bathrooms, but they truly need to be renovated. The stark contrast from the bedroom was frankly quite disconcerting. Also, worth mentioning that we were unable to get forks/chopsticks and spoons at 10pm because we were told the restaurant staff had gone home. Surprised housekeeping has none on hand, seeing as customers are bound to order in at night? Since the area is very quiet at night with no restaurants nearby. I was even told "you order food too late"? Breakfast options were also extremely limited and not very tasty. Since they go for a la carte you don't have much choice. Location: Sort of deserted area, pitch black entry area that was pretty scary.
