Bibis Hus

We were staying in the 19th century room. All I can say is that it was mind-blowing experience. I strongly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Bukhara to choose this particular hotel. Not just because of exceptional hospitality of staff but the own history of the Hotel. We were stunned by the whole story behind this building, and Mrs. Bibirajab the first female teacher in Bukhara. Definitely will come back)

This is a smaller hotel tucked away in a side street where many other courtyards/house had turned into hotels & homestays (that’s too bad). For our group they send a motor-cart to carry our luggage and led us to the hotel because it is kind of hard to find. Our room was nice & comfortable (not great) but it’s a little small. The many inside courtyards are so relaxing. Our included breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of fruits and healthy choices.

A one-of-a-kind hotel in the traditional Jewish Quarter in Bukhara, BKH has a fascinating past (make sure to ask) that enhances your stay in the historic rooms including the family suites that have incredible restored decorations. Bibi herself is a charming personality and her attentive staff coupled with the spaces around the hotel made for a memorable stay in Bukhara. We did many walks to the historic town centre which is within a couple of minutes at various times of the day when Bukhara seems to have different characters - and recharging at BKH between historic visits was meditative. Bibi was a great host and when we had an issue with the booking through the third party website, she was extremely helpful.
