Bighorn Meadows Resort

We’ve been visiting Radium Hot Springs for about 13 years now. We keep coming back because our experience at Bighorn Meadows Resort has always been positive (even during Covid). It’s quiet, the rooms are large, the kitchen has everything we need, and the scenery is amazing. Our kids enjoy the pool and we all enjoy the hot tubs. Now that we’ve taken up golf, having a highly rated golf course right next door is awesome. In all this time we’ve never been disappointed.

Just got back from another unforgettable stay at Radium Bighorn Resort — and this one was extra special. We’ve stayed here multiple times before, but this visit stood out in the best way. We were in Building 8, and everything from start to finish was perfect. Back in January, I called to book and spoke with Bex. Right away, I had a good feeling about this vacation. Bex answered all my questions with such kindness and made sure to put in a request for a quiet location — and she truly delivered! When we arrived, our keys were waiting in an envelope, and inside the unit was a lovely card welcoming us back as returning guests. Such a thoughtful touch! The room was spotless, fully equipped, and had everything we needed. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we spent most of our time outdoors soaking in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings — the perfect way to welcome spring. A huge thank you to all the hardworking staff who keep everything clean, safe, and running smoothly. Special thanks to Bex, who I had the pleasure of meeting as we were checking out. She made this stay feel so personal and memorable. Check-out was quick and seamless, and now we’re already counting down the days until we can come back. I cannot believe our experience. I'm dumb founded. I booked through their website. There was no way too book a room with a king sized bed. I then called and requested a king size bed stating that I was very pregnant and my husband is built like a linebacker. There's no way that the two of us could fit in a queen room. We get to our room and guess what, it's a queen room. We asked them if there's any kings available and they say no. After a lot of back and forth about the frustration around not being able to book a king bed, we talked to management and they finally agreed to clean a room that had a king bed in it. They tell us we're going to have to wait a few hours which we were happy to do. Then they phone us and say the room is available and the keys will be left at the front. When we got back, there were no keys left for us at the front. We called our emergency line, and we got zero responses after 15 minutes of repeated calling. Now we pretty much have nowhere to stay. It's 9:15 p.m. and I just want to lie down and put my feet up. I will not be staying here again
