Bio Hotel Villa Waldfrieden

We (married couple) stayed in the Waldfrieden FutjiSan for one night, a very lovingly and extravagantly furnished room, and after a sauna session we had a delicious dinner in Helvita. We traveled further to Krippen to spend a few more days there. Since we really liked the sauna, we wanted to use it again today (as advertised on the site, it can also be used by external guests). Unfortunately, Ms. Sturm, very unfriendly :-(, refused us entry at the reception. We were very disappointed and are of the opinion that the information on the page is not true. There is NO indication here that the sauna can only be used by external guests depending on the occupancy figures. We won't be coming back - it's a shame!! :-(

Decent enough but a bit pricey

Lovely villa with different rooms. It's connected to a hotel right next door where meals and breakfast are served. Free sauna access is available at another hotel in the same village. Nice accommodation, but the price is a bit high. Excellent breakfast with make-your-own omelets and even homemade smoothies. Incredible selection of quality fruit juices (including cabbage juice 😉). One point for improvement: there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the hotel's Wi-Fi in the restaurant doesn't always work perfectly. Even if you want to disconnect for a bit on vacation, it can sometimes be a bit of a hassle when planning your itinerary. Excellent starting point for beautiful hikes and via ferrata.
