I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect with stunning views of the mountains — absolutely breathtaking. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything was well-organized. Special thanks to Mariam and Etuna at the reception — they were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. They made the stay even better with their warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
Bioli is a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature – perfect for relaxation and enjoying the view. However, our experience at the restaurant was disappointing. When we called to make a reservation, we were informed in advance that a deposit of 50 GEL per person was required to enter the restaurant, which was fine. The problem was mainly with the restaurant service and staff attitude. The staff were inattentive and seemed unprofessional. Despite the high prices, the quality of service and food did not match the cost. The biggest issue was the delay in bringing our order. Although we were told the food would arrive within 15–20 minutes, we ended up waiting around 40–45 minutes. Dishes were brought out one by one, not all at once. For example, salads arrived after we had already finished the main courses. This significantly affected the overall dining experience and made the meal feel disorganized. We expected much better service from a place of this level. While the natural setting and atmosphere are wonderful, the restaurant service definitely needs improvement.
We decided to spend the day at this hotel after reading all the positive reviews, combining lunch at the restaurant with a booked spa treatment. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was unwelcoming and cold. At the parking area, the staff member told us “I don’t speak English” and offered no help or guidance at all. We truly felt like we were disturbing them just by being there. At the restaurant, despite having made a reservation and provided card details in advance, no table was actually prepared for us. We had to find our own seats, and the staff were unfriendly with very slow service. Most frustratingly, the main reason for our visit—the spa treatment—was cancelled just 45 minutes before our appointment, after we had already traveled 40 minutes by taxi to get there. The only response from the spa was essentially “come back next week,” with no apology or commercial gesture. This was honestly one of the worst hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. There is nothing “wellness” about this place. To make it worse, animals such as birds are kept in small cages on the property, which gives the opposite feeling of relaxation and care. Definitely not the experience we were expecting, and we left feeling very disappointed.
