Biondi hotel

We have just returned from a coach trip where we stayed at the Hotel Biondi. What a little gem of a hotel in a central location for reaching all of the main parts of Tuscany. We were on the fourth floor in a beautiful room at the side of the hotel. The room was large and had all the facilities we expected. There was a fridge to store drinks in. A safe (available with a €5 deposit for the key), hairdryer, extra blankets, TV and THE most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on in my life!! I slept so well during the whole week. The staff were really friendly, especially when they could see that we were attempting to speak a little bit of Italian. We learnt our room number for when we asked for drinks or the keys. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were so hardworking and helpful. We had a four course meal every night with wine and water at the table. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices for a continental breakfast and some hot options as well. The coffee came from a machine but was tasty. The owners of the hotel used to bring their dachshunds in to sit behind the reception desk. They were so gorgeous ❤️. Drinks were reasonable and we were able to pay the bill at the end of our stay. We were very happy with our stay and would consider visiting again next time we are in Tuscany.

The hotel Biondi is conveniently situated in Montecatini an easy walk in the piazza and close to the park. It is an older hotel and features some lovely art deco touches. We had a room with a balcony with fab views at the side of the hotel. The owners and staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly.

This hotel was gross and old. We found cobwebs on our roof, towels shoved under bedding, flickering lights in bathroom and just overall uncleanliness. The front desk people were incredibly rude and were very unhelpful. We were charged an extra £2/ towel. Beds barely have mattresses on them, might as well be sleeping on the floor. Every room is different so you may get lucky, but we did not. Would never come back. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Only thing I enjoyed was the food. Shout out to the chefs.
