Birch Selsdon

Wonderful, the perfect experience! Anita, Matthew and all the other staff made our Sunday lunch so special, thanks again! In September I visited with my two great friends, one of whom was was celebrating her engagement. The staff were fabulous, food was delicious, and the setting was gorgeous. If you want a stunning place to relax whilst appreciating nature, this is it. We loved the decor, subtle colours and ambience. Well done Birch! We will return.

I read several bad reviews on this hotel and I’m glad I ignored them. Absolutely loved our stay, rooms are lovely and the beds are super comfy! We moved to a front facing room as we have a baby and it was super peaceful and huge. The grounds are so pretty, food was delicious. Pool area was my favourite part, yes it can get busy but it is what it is, we managed to get a sunbed and our baby loved kicking around in the heated pool. Felt completely relaxed when we got home which is all we wanted from this trip. Thank you Birch, you have so much more to offer then we even began to fit in! Will 100% be back soon!

We stayed at Birch during the soft opening with our 3 children. We stayed in the family suite which was amazing, however with young children it would have been good to be able to wedge the doors open as we didn’t feel comfortable with the doors closed. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, there is so much on offer, we attended a family sound bath and played many of the giant outdoor games. We also enjoyed a long walk around the grounds and swimming. It’s a wonderful family escape so close to London. The breakfast was delicious with great service, we had a little mishap with the evening meal but the staff were very apologetic and quickly sorted it. We would definitely go back to Birch, it was a technology detox in the city!
