Bishop's Gate Hotel

I have stayed in many 4- and 5-star hotels around the world and the front desk team at Bishop’s Gate Hotel in Derry is something special. Robyn was an absolute delight and went above and beyond to make sure our group had everything we needed. But the other front desk staff too (thanks, Benny) also knocked themselves out for us. And the kitchen and dining room team stayed extra late to accommodate us. Don’t mean to only single them out: from the doorman to the housekeeping staff, all are wonderful. Just absolutely 5-Star service and genuine friendliness and kindness from beginning to end.

Amazing boutique hotel. We stayed in their Junior Suite which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly, attentive and professional. Very well deserving of the awards on their wall. Would definitely book again if we ever return to the maiden city.

Can I start by saying the staff and service is excellent and usually I'd give 5 🌟 every time but my main meal of fillet steak was very chewy and not very tasty . The restaurant manager was very good and didn't charge me the additional 8 pounds for it. What's upset me was while checking out I was presented with a bill for the 8 pounds. I explained that the restaurant manager had waved this but I was made to feel as if I was trying to sneak out without paying which to be honest along with the poor meal spoiled my whole stay.
