We visited Biyukukung spa after being refered here by a friend. We can definately say it was well worth it! We booked a 2 hour massage, scrub and flower bath for husband and wife and were not disappointed! Incredible massage, using strong, firm, but not painful techniques leaving your body feeling rejuvenated. The body scrub was amazing (my first time) which left my skin super soft and smooth. The flower bath was gorgeous, FULL of roses and other flowers which created aroma and blissfullness. Absolutely loved our visit. Massive thankyou to the women who provided the service.

The location in the heart of Ubud city..strategic location 5-8 mins walk to Hanoman St. View is superrrrrr in front of rice terrace.. Cleanliness 7/10.. Bamboo HOUSE needs not really Clean.. And be ready to hear weired sounds🤭🤭 Many times woke up coz of animals sounds. The regular room is better in my pov. Clean and quiet.. Price is very good. I would like to mention Reema (the therapiest in the Spa) She was handling me with care.. Pampering and soothing my pain... Thank you so much..

Not worth the hype This hotel promises a lot, but the actual experience leaves much to be desired. Front Desk Service: We checked in at around 11 PM, which is admittedly late, so I didn’t expect a welcome drink. However, the front desk staff failed to make us feel welcome at all—certainly not in the warm and friendly way you’d expect in Bali. Room: We booked the Bamboo Rice Terrace House, a standalone double-deck unit designed to offer stunning rice field views. Unfortunately, we were assigned Room 101, which is in the lowest corner of the property. The view was underwhelming, and the room was located near the yoga studio, so we were abruptly woken up at 8 AM by the music. To add to the frustration, the Wi-Fi was slow and choppy—pretty standard for Bali but still inconvenient. Bathroom: The bathroom was the biggest letdown. The shower drain was broken, so water barely drained during showers, and the water heater didn’t work when I wanted to shower at 9 PM. For a hotel claiming to be 4-star, this was unacceptable. The hair dryer was another disappointment—it barely had enough airflow to dry anything. Bedroom: The bedroom on the second floor was decent overall, though the bedsheets and pillowcases weren’t as clean as they should have been. If you’re staying in a higher-level terrace house, the view from the bed could be enjoyable. Unfortunately, in Room 101, this wasn’t the case. Room Change Request: After experiencing these issues, we decided to request a room change. The front desk staff seemed reluctant to help and, after a few minutes of checking, informed us that all similar rooms were fully booked. Our only alternatives were a Garden House without a rice terrace view or a standard hotel room—not exactly what we had in mind when booking. Other Considerations: On a positive note, the other staff members were kind and helpful, assisting with our luggage during check-in and check-out. However, staying in the bamboo houses requires a lot of walking and stair climbing, as there’s only one steep path leading in and out. If you have mobility issues, this property isn’t ideal. Location: The hotel’s location is its redeeming quality. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby, which makes dining and entertainment convenient. Overall: While the location is excellent, the hotel failed to deliver on its promises. The lackluster service, room issues, and overall inconvenience outweighed the positives. Unless you’re prepared to deal with these shortcomings, I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a more comfortable and hassle-free stay.
