Bizipoz Hotel

Terrific new hotel. Ideal location overlooking the harbor & Old Town. Walking distance to everything, restaurants, shops, beach, attractions. Our room was spacious & overlooked the harbor. Adding bottles of still & sparkling water each day after cleaning was a nice touch. Xabi, the gentleman who checked us in & out of the hotel was fabulous! Coming from the hospitality industry, I was impressed with the detail of his service, including remembering our names! A wonderful wine bar is next door, plenty of restaurant options, a small, but adequate gym (including a sauna) made the stay very pleasant.

Absolutely outstanding hotel, with perhaps the most thoughtfully-designed rooms I've ever stayed in (and that includes many Four Seasons, Mandarins-Oriental and Park Hyatts). So many places to put things, to hang things, to pack things, to refrigerate things and to hide or ignore things. The room divides elegantly into two separate spaces simply by closing two doors, allowing your teenager his/her own space without compromising your own. It's very clever. The location simply could not be better; you're in the very heart of this beautiful, bustling town but it still feels like an oasis. The excellent beach is just a few minutes' walk. The beautiful eglise is even closer, as is an abundance of great restaurants and interesting shops and cultural attractions; indeed many are actually on-site. The view from our very large room (216) was spectacular, offering both mountains and the bay. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our three-night stay My only rather minor complaint is that at the price we paid breakfast ought to be included. But never mind - the hotel is right next les Halles de Saint Jean-de-Luz and dozens of excellent cafes and patisseries. Otherwise this place is near-perfection in a near-perfect town.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Ideal location for beach & restaurants etc. Safe parking. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Modern clean rooms. Can very much recommend this hotel.
