We tried to book online but weren’t successful, so we decided to walk in—and luckily, we got a table for two. The table was reserved later for 5 PM, so the timing worked out perfectly. My husband had the Sunday roast beef, and I ordered the sea bass. We both really enjoyed our meals! We’ll definitely be back to try other dishes. The service was excellent. Even though it was busy when we arrived, a friendly staff member from the bar accommodated us and even took our order himself. The manager was lovely as well—she came over for a nice chat with us. A great experience overall!
Stopped by for a drink on a Saturday and decided to eat on the Sunday evening. Good menu, local produce, generous servings - next level up on most pubs. Great value. Friendly, quick service. Always busy, so booking advised.
Lovely rural inn with delicious, beautiful, well cooked food from local sources. Staff are very friendly and fantastically helpful. Compliments to the chefs on the day as our roast dinners and desserts were lovely and my husband really enjoyed his Pagan Queen pint. (Apt as we were celebrating our handfasting anniversary). Can only say if you are looking for good service, delicious food and a nice atmosphere then try The Black Bull Inn. Prices were on point too. Thank you.
