Black Gold Motel

We stayed here for a work trip and were quietly surprised. Having stayed in many places around Australia and overseas this would have to be one of the cleanest rooms we have ever had. We had our evening meal I. The restaurant and the service and meals were great. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here.

We had an unexpected breakdown late at night and found ourselves in a tough spot at 3am. Thankfully, this lovely motel came to our rescue. friendly staff member answered our call in the middle of the night with kindness and helped us reserve a room without hesitation. They’ve been incredibly accommodating ever since, allowing us a late checkout and letting us wait comfortably in the lounge while our car is being fixed. We’re so grateful for the warmth and hospitality during such a stressful moment. Thank you, Black Gold, you turned a hard night into a peaceful experience.

Had the benefit of staying in almost all rooms available whilst there for work and you get everything you possibly need (kitchen sink, fridge, microwave) plus a super comfy bed(s). The staff are all so helpful, nice and welcoming. The restaurant is absolute dynamite, I could close my eyes and pick an item at random and not ever be disappointed. If I ever had the need to stay in the vicinity, there would be no second thought on the motel I'd choose.
