Blackpool Football Club Stadium Hotel a member of Radisson Individuals

Stayed here for my sons birthday & got a room overlooking the pitch. The only downside was the pitch lights being on all night however this didn't end up being much of a problem as the beds were comfy enough that I slept really well & the light wasn't an issue. The rooms were really clean, as was the bathroom. At first I didn't think we had drinks facilities but they were located in one of the cupboards & had plenty of options for hot drinks. Lots of choice for breakfast and the staff were all very polite & friendly. I booked directly with the hotel so parking ended up only being £5 per night which I thought was great value! I'll definitely stay here again if I return to Blackpool!

Well, we booked for 2 nights and on route (less than an hour from book in) got a message to say there was a problem with hot water. On arrival this was confirmed but seeing as we were already here we were making the best of it and booked in. Room was lovely, spacious with big bathroom, big bed and a fold out couch bed, tea making facilities and large TV. View from the room was over the football pitch. We had drinks in the Corner Flag bar and later had something to eat whilst sitting on the terrace and watched a couple of youth team games. Lovely breakfast buffet and we headed out for the day but received message that they were closing the hotel due to the hot water issue. Returned to hotel and grabbed our things. At this point I’d say the staff were lovely, friendly and all smiling however I think, on hindsight that the hotel should have done something to assist with moving the booking to another hotel but I guess that wasn’t a priority. Staff refunded me my 2nd night and we headed home. ( on route home we stopped off and booked another hotel but can’t say I wasn’t disappointed on not staying at this lovely hotel) Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, will I return?, possibly. Lovely hotel, rooms nice, staff friendly and not far (1m) from pleasure beach and tower.

The room was OK with a good view of the pitch. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There was hair in the bath, and the cups and spoons were not clean. Also, there was no soap in the shower gel, and there was noisey work being done at 830am. in the stadium. These are only small things but were disappointed in the standards for a football club. Enjoyed our stay but definitely wouldn't stay again. Parking is £5 for 24 hours outside the stadium. Again, this is madness when you have booked a room and the entire stadium car parks are empty!
