We stayed here for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel and rooms were clean. The service to leave luggage was very much appreciated. The breakfast was very good. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We even ate there several nights and it was always great. Next time we visit London we will definitely stay here again.
Clean, quiet, fresh and nice place to stay for a visit to London. Relatively short distance to almost everything, and at the same time away from the tourist crowds. Good English breakfast at very good service. In the same road you find a very nice wine bar and cafe.
Wonderful lobby and restaurant. Upgraded to a jr. suite which was really about the size of a regular Hilton room in the USA. The bathroom was nice but a little dim. Loved the rain head shower. Great to relax under after walking all day in London. The room was nice and had a small fridge, safe, ample sized closet, and a coffee pot. The bed was just ok. The beds aren’t a Hilton or Sheraton bed but more like a mid-low end IKEA bed. The pillows were ok…not great, but not terrible. There was a plug outlet on only one side of the bed so only one us could charge our phones at the bedside. Plenty of other plugs across the room along the little desk. We had room 018 which has a window that looked out on nothing…essentially it looked out to another wall 6 ft away. Also, that room is next to the lobby so the automatic doors can open and let noise in from the busy breakfast if you’re trying to sleep in. The closest tube stations were 8-10 minutes away. Bayswater and Queensway are close to each other and Paddington station is 10 minutes in the other direction. Hyde Park/Kensington Palace was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was good and the service was friendly and attentive (which was refreshing for London when compared to the US. I heard there was a small gym downstairs but I never used the facilities. One odd note, our room was on the first floor and every once in a a while you can hear the rumbled of the tube every few minutes I. The morning. It’s very faint but every once in a while it becomes more notable. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Would we stay here again….Maybe, but I might try to find somewhere a little closer to a tube station. That being said we enjoyed the stay and felt it was a good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facility itself was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
