Blasco de Garay City Center A

Estuvimos en este apartamos en octubre y la verdad que estuvimos muy a gusto. Estaba todo muy limpio, ordenado; además de ser un apartamento muy confortable. Todo cuidado al más mínimo detalle. Al llegar a mi casa me di cuenta de que me había dejado mis chanclas y al ir a contactar con el grupo bemate, ellos ya me habían enviado un correo para informarme de ello. Fueron muy amables. Repetiré!

El apartamento es precioso, la cama comodísima. Nos encantó la terraza. La ubicación es perfecta para aprovechar la estancia en Madrid

Liked · I absolutely loved the location. I've stayed in Madrid’s touristy Centro many times in the past but this was more residential, and I felt like a local. It's close to shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, bars and cafes. There's even an El Corte Ingles within walking distance! The closest Metro, Arguelles, is only about a 6/7 min walk away. The building is super nice, super clean plus the apartment I stayed in (Bajo B) was the perfect size for just me. The decor was stylish and modern and amenities were well thought out too. It is a beautiful basement level apartment. Disliked · Being a basement apartment, there wasn't any natural light coming in from the windows. However, it was very hot when I was in Madrid (37-40 degrees) so no sunlight coming in actually turned out to be a blessing. It kept the place cool. Unfortunately I had a few issues that ruined what would've otherwise been a great stay. Entry issues, thanks to the app. But mostly, the housekeeping issues I had (they forgot to provide towels and also cleaning materials - dish soap, cloth, sponge etc). I had to ask twice for towels to shower with, as I only had a couple of hand towels. the first time I was told I would be brought some the following morning. I wasn't - so I had to ask again. Not good at all. Especially for accommodation at this price point, I had high expectations and basic things such as towels and cleaning materials for their kitchen items were not things I'd have thought I'd need to request. But that said, I will admit that Be Mate have been very apologetic about the mistakes made.
