We have been booking this hotel for the past 7 years. The staff is really nice and helpful. Highlights are Orlando the pool guy, Alain by the pool bar and Leonel (alias "Lily"), Nene and Harold down the beach. The room maids are really attentive and efficient. We do love the beach although the pool is good for cooling down late afternoon. Pool is very clean. Animation managers like Oro do their best to entertain and engage with people. We always end up extending our stay. Room is spacious, well maintained and in line with international standards. Tony the guard is always walking around and making sure that people feel safe. We will definitely return!!!!!!!
Last minute get away. Good atmosphere, good rooms, okay food, some entertainment. Location is 30 minutes away from Havana with a daily bus for 10$ round trip. Beach 100 meters away. 24 hours bar. Try their fruit juices at the buffet.
You had really nice people working there and then you didn't. The food is quite poor and often not even hot...bring your own spices and condiments as there is only salt available, that's it. Good location because it is inexpensive to go and tour Havana for the day and access to the Atlantic Ocean is a path from the resort. The pool is very large and there is a 24hr. bar. The rooms are clean but have no insulation...you will hear EVERYTHING around you. Family-friendly.
