Blerick Country Retreat

Absolutely loved our stay here (Mudbrick cottage) . Very cosy ,loved how the fireplace was on before our arrival. Pet friendly,Our dog loved the space as much as we did. Definitely will be back .

Loved it, got a bit cold at night, you need to keep the wood up to the fire. Comfy bed and lounge, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful surrounds.

Are currently staying. So!! Run down. Booked the spa room so I could hike and then have a soak... wasn’t to know the hot water runs out when bath isn’t even 1/3 full. So I guess no spa for me... and no shower until it’s available again, and if.. I also have booked 2 nights. I shouldn’t have. Told about it being self contained, didn’t realise I’d have to wash everything before I used it as it’s clear the ppl prior did not. It does not feel clean at all. Mosquitos! Huge and everywhere, yet no fly screen on the door. So must have the door kept closed. I don’t know what view is supposed to be seen from the dirty loft window, but all I see are tree branches, nothing to rave about there. Next door has their heater on and I can hear it vibrate the roof every few minutes. Dog friendly which is what interested me... but where is their room to toilet or for a roam, in a 2x2m patch of grass and it’s not fenced off. Disappointing as it sounded good. But is so old, run down and unclean.
