Comfortable and chic and the whole staff members are friendly and helpful. Only 2 issues we had were 1. housekeeping should improve (for example they left an espresso cup full and didn’t change it or replace it with a new clean one) 2. Rooms are not properly sound proofed, and it can get very noisy at night.
Bless Hotel is in a great location, but I don’t believe it deserves its 5-star rating. At best, it feels like a 4-star hotel. The rooms are a bit worn. In our room, the shower had a crack in the floor, and water leaked under the bathroom floor. Maintenance came and applied some caulk, but it didn’t fix the issue. We also found the prices high—for example, two cappuccinos cost €14, which seemed excessive. Overall, it’s a decent hotel, but I think you can find better value for the price.
I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at Bless Hotel Madrid was so upsetting, I feel it’s necessary to warn others – especially those expecting a five-star standard. At first glance, the hotel impresses with its decor and branding. The aesthetics are polished, and the promise of luxury lures you in. But don’t let that fool you. Behind the beautiful façade is a complete lack of responsibility, accountability, and service culture. From the moment I checked in, problems began. My room was not ready despite arriving well after check-in time. No apology, no drink offered while I waited – just indifference. Once inside, the room looked fine but had several maintenance issues. I reported them immediately. Guess what? Nothing was done. Throughout my stay, I brought up my concerns repeatedly to various staff members – from reception to management – and was met with empty promises and blank stares. Not a single person followed up. Not once did someone take ownership or even pretend to care. It was always someone else’s responsibility. The kind of behavior I’d expect from a low-budget hotel, not from a property claiming to be among Madrid’s finest. I felt ignored, dismissed, and frankly scammed. I spent good money expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience, and instead I was left frustrated, disappointed, and deeply unimpressed. For a hotel that markets itself on personalized service and attention to detail, this was one of the most impersonal, unaccountable, and hollow experiences I’ve ever had in any supposed five-star hotel – not just in Madrid, but anywhere in the world. Bless Hotel, you failed. You failed to care, to respond, and to take responsibility. I left angry, disappointed, and completely disillusioned. I will not return, and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
