Blu Salento Village

Blue Salento Village Hotel is wonderfully located, offering a great stay with plenty of entertainment options. The dinners are excellent, providing a delightful culinary experience. Breakfasts are typically Italian, though the scrambled eggs could be better. Overall, it's a fantastic place to enjoy a lively and relaxing holiday.

Rooms are a bit outdated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of choice on the buffet. There are some evenings that are organised around a certain theme. There are activities throughout the day, at night, there is a piano bar, and a show performed by the staff. A week is more than sufficient as the food and activities are repeated weekly. The hotel is well suited for small children. One needs to pay an additional fee for umbrellas and beds on the beach, as well as taxes when arriving. At the swimming pool, one needs to wear a swimming cap. Although many do not care, the lifeguard tends to show its authority to some and not to others.

There is no ATM in this small village, so don't forget your cash! Other than tha it is a great isolated location to have a family relaxed summer holiday. Near towns are amazing. The resort itself has a very nice layout, it is a completely different experience if you book an upgrade gold packag, which includes a reservation into a smaller restaurant and first row on the beach. Night entertainment not for me, but that's personal. Good kids clubs.
