One of the best experience l have had so far. Fantastic locations, most professional and accommodating stuff, the hotel is extremely well managed, very clean. The rooms are ample and modern. A short walk to the beach with crystal clear water and a superb restaurant with excellent Manu and Yulia, the sweetest kindest and best waitress. What a joyfully 4 days. Thank you blu Tropical.

The service is fabulous, friendly and easy to contact when needed. They helped us with arrangements as anniversary dinner by the beach, that was splendid at sunset and local gourmet food and wine. We got all support we needed with activities and taxi service. We are so grateful for all the help and support we had during our stay. Food is great, try the pasta pomodoro with n’duja. The sea is magic, see Stromboli at sunset while eating dinner or taking a swim. Sun beds and one umbrella for two was included in the apartment we rented. The housing was surrounded by a lovely designed garden with a lots of trees, flowers and with a terrace. Clean and beautiful rooms. The hotel and the residence with apartments are separated with a short walk, but they are close to the beach, pool area and restaurants. We needed to walk up to the hotel for breakfast, for us it was a good walk but it is a bit heavy upwards. In the apartments you can have your own breakfast, cook dinner, have cold drinks. If you arrive by train it is a walk about 5-10 minutes to the reception. If you have many bags ask for shuttle service or taxi. We went by taxi to a bigger super market to be able to fill the fridge for a couple of days. It was worth it. Check opening hours before, we had short time shopping since they closed soon after we arrived. The super market in Zambrone had not that much of what we needed. If you need like snorkeling equipment or something else bring it or you need to go somewhere else to find it. Buy or bring shampoo, soap, dish equipment, toilet paper. Cleaning service every 4th day. The pharmacy was good and the Gelato by the train station had exellent service, espresso, pastries. I recommend this place for a relaxing holiday, if you need more action, take a visit to Tropea town and beaches easily by car, train or taxi. Enjoy 🙏🏻❤️🇮🇹

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for around €600 in July and will definitely never come back. PROS: the staff friendly and hard-working; location clean and view 🔝 ; coffee ok CONS:  internet connection - very weak, plus some power outages - unreliable for digital nomads or people who need to work;  a big no-go was the tone of the hotel owner. First, she yelled at us when we wanted to take an apple afterwards, then she yelled at a couple at a neighboring table that it was forbidden to take food from the breakfast table. I understand that, of course, but your tone of voice in addressing the issue would be unacceptable in a civilized setting. 'Customer is king' does not apply here. But I have to say that the breakfast offer is not only very small, but the quality is 0: no cucumbers or tomatoes (and that in southern Italy), nothing special about fruit, no bananas, canned pineapples, no freshly cut fruit like melon or similar (and that in midsummer), old hard croissants, cheapest ham, cheese and scrambled eggs + the highlight ‘the ants are walking between the cakes’ To be honest, that gave me something to think about and in retrospect I couldn’t trust their restaurant on the beach. Why should the food be better there when the breakfast is so miserable... Conclusion: I didn't feel valued as a customer, but rather exploited. *General information independent of the hotel: For those who do a daily jog, the location here offers this opportunity only along the road. Btw, walking barefoot on the beach might be painful as there are small stones and not really sand.
