Blue Bay Resort

Not the typical package holiday hotel but loving it. Nice pool area, food very good if a little limited but the friendly staff make up for it.

Beautiful Place but Rooms were not what pictures tell...Place has soo much potential into future....

Not worth our stay even though the resort has spectacular views of Cape Vaticano. You pretty much get treated like a second class guest and not is all what it seems. If there is a wedding on you won't be able to use the pool. If there is a movie filming you won't be able to use the beach. I don't mind loosing facilities for one day but I only had one day throughout my entire stay where I could use the facilities. What made us more annoyed was there was fireworks at 1:30am from a wedding event, there was no warning given what so ever and it gave us such a freight. The food; be prepared to sit in an isolated area with no views to have your meals. Breakfast and Dinner is not served in the pool area. The pool bar is for drinks only. There is no food. Breakfast is below average. The coffee was making me nauseous and the only thing I could eat was rusks and jam. The dinner well, it looks like you are given meals from whatever event is on. You are not handed a menu to read which I found rather frustrating. The pasta is what they do better but the other dishes are well below average, lacking in quality and presentation I have had better food in other Italian destinations. The rooms, appreciate the free upgrade with partial view of the sea. It had a drying rack. You are not given complimentary water but the beds are comfortable. Also, the air conditioning is controlled by reception so it took a long time to get started which was annoying when you are carrying luggage upstairs and it's a rather HOT day. The hotel is in need of some changes and is not 4 stars but thankful to the nice reception staff
