Blue Bell Country Inn

We popped in for some lunch as we were in the area and based on other reviews. The interior and exterior are a really nice mix of modern and traditional. It was quiet when we arrived but it felt like a place with a good atmosphere. We liked the background music, which wasn't too loud and added to the overall atmosphere. Service was great, welcoming and friendly. The menu was interesting in a good way, with a good variety of dishes. There were a few vegetarian dishes but vegans will find it quite limited. The food was great; tasty, nicely cooked and well presented (although I would have preferred a plate). The piccalilli was really delicious! Portion sizes were reasonable and, I felt, good value for money. We look forward to returning to experience an evening meal!

Cracking cooked breakfast! Even if you're not staying, you can get breakfast here from 8am-10am weekdays. We popped in after dropping off our dogs at daycare pretty much next door to the Blue Bell. Three of us had the full breakfast, one had pancakes with extra bacon. The portions are very generous; I couldn't finish mine by any stretch of the imagination, so wrapped up one of the sausages to give to the dog later 😊 Lovely service and particularly nice to have breakfast outside on the terrace!

My husband and I had an overnight stay it was very comfortable and the staff were friendly kind and nothing was too much trouble.we booked and spoke to Mia and she was very helpful and sent us a list of things to do in the local area. Vivienne was lovey and so helpful even put cream on my husband wasp sting Sharon was cheerful serving our amazing breakfast. We had the best nights sleep in a very cosy bed. Would highly recommend.Thank you.🌞
