Blue C Coolangatta

We had the best trip to Coolangatta! The location of this property can’t be beat- steps from the beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved watching the whales from our balcony every day and our kids loved the pool. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. It did feel dated, because of the older looking carpet, decor, and bathrooms, but we’d definitely return regardless!

Very unprofessional. We confirmed that it was fine to arrive after hours and to contact the number (in the information they sent us) once we arrived. We got there about half an hour after 'closing'. After many attempts of ringing the contact number and the number written on the notice at the main door, no success. We tried sending an email too. Eventually someone rang back and said we were supposed to pay the outstanding balance for our 2-night stay upfront before we could stay. Eventually they allowed us to enter as long as we came down to reception to pay as soon as they open in the morning. The next morning I wasn't feeling well so I went back to sleep while my husband went downstairs. He went over to a cafe to get a coffee waiting for reception to open. My husband got caught up on a business phone call for more than half an hour. In the meantime I was given the biggest fright of my life, I was woken by a man standing knocking at the bedroom door INSIDE my room!! The guy, who said he was management, was standing there at the foot of the bed telling me that we need to pay our bill. I was so scared. This man was in my room, he let himself in and came into the bedroom while I was asleep demanding payment. Please tell me that is not normal. This happened in Jan 2020 and I've only now been able to write this review. Disgusting

Absolutely never again. Filthy dirty. Asked to have the room cleaned and it was still disgusting. Dishwasher didn’t work. Dryer was wrecked when we got there. Terrible service for the money you pay.
