Blue Heron Beach Resort

This location has wonderful views from building 2 of the lake, I was on the upper floors. Building 1 view was over the pool and has no real lake view, as bldg 2 blocks view to the right where lake is. The apartment I got had w/d water line that broke and leaked, so I couldn't use it. During the entire stay owner was in Canada and needed to reply about fixing it and give permission, dishwasher wasn't anchored in and would fall over some when opened loading and unloading, furniture was very old itchy and painful (bed, chairs, couches) №1802. The whole unit seemed mostly quite cleaned. Large fridge. Was offered another unit in building 1, but I liked the view so much more in building 2. Here you are expected to wash your own towels and bedding they provide you, however, since w/d was broken they gave me towel exchange, no charge, and parking was free, lots of security to get into unit, needed card for gate, elevator, & unit. You take it your own trash, and they recycle. Pools and hottub are very clean, but I never used them. Fun cabana bar at pool opens evenings. Lots of grills and walkway areas. No filtered water areas to refill. Warnings of gators in lake and mambas in vegetation. Talked to security who's seen the gator in the water early mornings. Overall, I would return simply because of that view over the lake, and the front side, you can watch fireworks over EPCOT. They have carts to help you get your things up to units. Very helpful staff. Everyone is friendly. Lots of places within walking distance, including a dollar store. Many convenience needs nearby and more within driving distance. Don't be walking late at night. The Parks are very close by.

Absolutely great location! The grounds are beautiful, as was our condo. My only issue is that you can hear every single noise outside, including every time a guest/resident allows their door to slam. We were at the end of the hall, and could hear doors slam past the elevator. This location is centrally located for all the parks and nearby attractions. Plenty of restaurant choices.

Blue heron beach resort : property is good and location also nice. But about the apartment 1-1107 where I stayed, could have been better managed. I had serious issues with cleaning. Not only apartment but the complex itself needs to be serviced nicely. Everywhere there's spider web and ants. Moment I checked in at reception, I took a baggage stroller near by the lift, to find spiders and web all around .. Similarly when I entered house, entire balcony was filled with spiders and web all around. Upon calling up the host and telling them same thing, nothing happened. Apartment was big enough and catered for my and family needs . Facilites were amazing, all the amenities were sufficient. Ample towels, linen, and blankets were provided. No issues with that. Kitchen has all sorts of equipment needed for stay and cooking. Coffee maker wasn't cleaned though, so never used it due to hygiene issues. Check-in and check-out was smooth. They offered free parking which is also nice.
