Blue Lagoon City Hotel

We have stayed as family during our Kos visit. The hotel was new, very clean. Our room was for 3 people and it was quite big. But the rooms for 2 people were smaller and the bath and toilet were together with no separator or cabinet. So it would be good to choose the bigger rooms even 2 people stay. The hotel is 12 minutes walk from the beach and the shopping area. For me it’s ok, but children preferred to be closer to the beach. The breakfast was good, the staff was very kind and helpful. The price was a little bit high, but we have reserved 1 day before our visit. Early reservations would be cheaper. I would definitely prefer again for my next trip to Kos.

Stayed here with my husband and our 9 year old son (one room accommodation) in early May. Very friendly staff, clean hotel. Breakfast buffet was very rich with some changes every morning. Plenty of storage/cabinets in the room. Good location just outside the busy streets of the center/old town of Kos City, quiet at nights. Easy access with a rental car, almost everyday we could park straight in front of the hotel. Pool area was safe and clean, and the pool itself was just the right size for our son with its depth between 1,10-1,50m. Keep in mind whilst booking, that there is no actual bathroom, but small separate toilet and shower and the sinks are outside the stalls. This became a tiny problem for us because I tend to wake up earlier than the rest of the family and would have loved to wash up, put on sunscreen etc. without waking up others with the lights. Yet of course we knew this ourselves when we booked our room, so as mentioned, not that big of a deal 😊

We stayed for 2 nights between 29.06.2025 and 01.07.2025. The hotel reception was very good. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, the restaurant section is not suitable for children. When I entered with my 2-year-old baby in a stroller, we put it on the edge of the table on the first day. A lady came immediately and said in a harsh tone to pull it aside. On the second day, she said it was forbidden to enter with a stroller. In other words, how are we going to have breakfast with a baby in one hand and a plate in the other?
