Magnificent view over Al Kar'oun lake in Bekaa, great weather. Close to wineries and huge green spaces. Decent accommodation for a fair price
Very cheap and neat place, good furnishing quality of rooms, with wifi access, the hotel service is perfect, and the view is amazing direct the lake. The disadvantages is that the restaurant is closed so you need to bring your breakfast with you or take it outside the hotel, and there is no swimming pool within the hotel. For swimming, you need to take a 35 mins drive to the river where you can enjoy a Lebanese cuisine lunch as well.
The worst experience ever. No wonder all the other hotels in the region had no vacancies. No electricity most of the time, dirty rooms, spider web on the ceiling... I can't begin to describe really. I do not understand how management could get this bad. I mean cleaning up and removing the spider web isn't costly. There was an empty water bottle in the closet. I hate posting bad reviews as it hurts businesses, but this is tooooo much.
