Just spent the weekend here. It’s been 10 years since we last stayed at this property. The rooms and location are amazing and the hotel service even better. We arrived early and Ezra checked us in without hesitation, he went out of his way to find us a room that was ready and did not charge us for the early arrival. He even made efforts to check in with me several times while our paths crossed and made sure my stay was exceptional. Thank you Ezra for your professionalism and dedication to customer service excellence. We will be back soon….
Went this past weekend for a girls trip with my daughter sister and mom. We had a great stay rooms were clean, staff was friendly and when we needed extra coffee in the morning they quickly had it brought up to our room. Only negative I can say would be the pull out sofa was not the most comfortable for sleeping ( however maybe to be expected for a pull out) My 5 yr old thought the pool/hot tub was the best part of the entire trip! Will return hopefully during the winter months as this was my first trip to Blue Mountain, will definitely stay here again. Great location for walking around the village
Although the hotel is in a good location, I was extremely disappointed in the hotel room itself. Upon arrival, we noticed that the carpet had crumbs and pieces of plastic. The bathroom floor had a large clump of long black hair. It was clear the room was not cleaned to standards before our arrival. I called down and asked for housekeeping for the next day and specifically asked for the floors to be cleaned. It was absolutely disgusting. Also, when we opened the sofa bed in the den we specifically got for our toddler, we noticed it was on a slant. We called down, maintenance was sent up, but couldn’t fix it. It was suggested that we use the couch cushions as a head board (to account for the large gap at the back of the mattress due to the slant) but the couch cushions had stains. It was extremely disappointing that the room was handed to us in that state. It was also not convenient for housekeeping to come anytime between 9-5pm. How can we plan our day around that? It’s not realistic to be out of the hotel room for that long when we have to take showers after the pool and my toddler needs to nap. In my past experiences with hotels, housekeeping coming within a 2-4 hour window of time. That’s more reasonable! On our last morning before check up, the dishwasher started leaking from the bottom. Causing water to leak out onto the floor. We opened the dishwasher to find a pool of water at the bottom. It had a bad odour to it. We had not used the dishwasher during our stay, so the water had been there for a while. When I went to check out, I mentioned all of this again to the staff and was offered a % discount for my troubles….$48. That hardly covers our horrible experience with the room. It was a terrible stay from start to finish, so disappointing!
