Beautiful hotel great for families with children with lots of animation programs. We were probably the only childless couple there. Since it’s a family oriented hotel beware there are screaming and crying children everywhere at all times if you’re looking for a quiet romantic vacation. The aqua park was packed with children in the evening but we were glad we could use the sauna zone that was for adults only and there were 4 saunas, 2 hot tubs and one salt room and a sunny meadow with UV light. There weren’t many people in the aqua park from 12 pm to 4 pm though which we were happy about so we could use the main swimming pool which wasn’t really possible in the evening. The water in the swimming pool was pleasantly warm and so was the air there. Food was really tasty, we had buffet breakfast and buffet dinner and there were all kinds of food to choose from including water, juices and coffee. Sadly there were too many people for the dining room especially during breakfast so it was really full and hard to find an empty table and there was lots of queuing for food. The hotel room was big enough and there was working heating in each part of the room. The only downside was that cleaning was only available when you reported to the reception and only every other day and that we booked a double bed but got two single beds pushed together that had wheels and kept rolling away. The shower pressure could have been better as well but I think the issue was because the hotel was full and the temperatures dropped to -15°C during the night. Staff at the main and pool reception and dining room spoke good English. We really enjoyed our vacation to the fullest and loved our stay in Blue Mountain and would love to visit again in the future. We can totally recommend Blue Mountain to all visitors.
This hotel is a gem for families with young kids. The amount of fun, games and attractions is insane. We had to force the kids to get out of the hotel ☺️ They loved the pool, slides, but also the playroom, playground and a game room. The breakfast is unbelievable, even our gluten free girl manage to eat something delicious every day. Super friendly staff, attentive, amazing food, and super convenient apartments with its own kitchen. There’s only one minor minus - guys, fix your cleaning service. It’s below expectations, they wouldn’t even make the beds. No biggie but disappointing. Loooooved it!
Our stay in this hotel was nice overall and we enjoyed the time, especially at indoor swimming pool. However it’s very out of touch with lots of “western” hotels. To name a few: - no air conditioning in the room - not sure what people do in summer but we were boiling on April. Overall the temperature in rooms and hallways seems a bit hot. - I have a genuine concern for safety of children in the swimming pool, they are basically expected to be supervised at all times by the adults . There is one lifeguard at the end of the pool (from his position he can’t even see the little kids pool), there is no lifeguard on the top of the slide and I was concerned that my child might be squashed by someone who doesn’t care about the green light. Saw many times people jump immediately one after another , including adult after kid, ignoring the light. - I didn’t think the animation program was that good - though I appreciate they made an effort to make it a child friendly hotel and the characters welcoming children looks nice - Also the rooms - gaming and somewhat soft play are good as well - soft play should be bigger. Especially when the hotel is packed, same for the playground - nice overall but smaller than on pictures and in proportion to the hotel. The arts and craft very basic - just colouring sheets. Bricks activity - no animation , just baskets of wooden bricks. You can’t leave your child in kids club, which is the strangest thing of all. Overall, we were given a list with the activities which didn’t match what they shown on tv, in Polish of course, so didn’t get that - it would be nice to have some info of things to do in the area at the reception . Luckily , we discovered there is a nice waterfall 30 min walk. But there was a person we spoke to who spend the whole week and had no idea this was there - the locker in our bathroom was broken. I asked to fix it day 1, then in 24h again and was promised to have it done “in a few minutes” . Needless to say - at the check out - Dat three , this still wasn’t done. - Room - soap attached at a level a child can’t reach. Not enough drying space for dishes and not clear what to do with the bins (in general no info on anything… in English) - some hotel people speak English which is great, but overall it’s hard to make sense of the hotel as no info in English. There are lots of Russian speakers among the staff and hotel guests , but they wouldn’t put anything in Russian either What I did like - decorations, balloons especially and nice Easter touch with the bunnies. Water facilities are state of art - nice swimming areas, fun slide with the lights and also little slide in kiddies area. Spa is fantastic - selection of treatments is great and mostly hight quality (didn’t like classic massage though), Thai and oriental, also facial are amazing. Spa area is amazing too - 4 saunas + salt room + ultraviolet room. Good choice of food at breakfast and dinner So overall, have mixed feeling about this place. I think they need to improve to match the level they pitched for.
