Here’s a review you can use for the Village Suites Hotel at Blue Mountain: ⸻ We stayed at the Village Suites Hotel in Blue Mountain in March and overall found it to be good value for the area. The one-bedroom suite we stayed in was upgraded, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. That said, the check-in process was a bit odd—we had to go down the street to check in, then drive back, park, and walk all of our stuff to the Suites building, where the front desk wasn’t even staffed. Once settled in though, the location was great and the suite itself was clean and updated. A few quirks, but still a solid option for a getaway.
Our experience at Village suites was mediocre. The location is great if you want to be surrounded by everything. The rooms were only okay. The bed was a double bed and I would give it a 3 star for comfort. The pillows were not great (definitely recommend bringing your own). It was clear our room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was a grey goose cap and wrappers found on the floor of the room and the drinking glasses were dirty. Free parking was two lots away - wasn’t too far.
Great location in the village and a beautiful setting. We were at the Seasons at Blue section. Check-in at the Grand Georgian went smoothly and lots of underground parking available (extra charge). We had a studio suite overlooking the pool area and slopes. Nice view, although would have been nice to know we were not getting a balcony (our miss at booking). Room was clean. It's been a long time since I was in a hotel room with carpet but everything was in good repair. The room met all expectations (value not luxury) with the exception of the bedding. There is no daily service to make beds so the use all flat sheets (not great quality) is a problem. After the first night it was a bit of a disaster to try to put back together. Multiple times we found the flat sheet on the mattress scrunched underneath us. Use of fitted sheets would be better. Sound transfer between units is a definite thing here. Unless you are speaking in soft conversational tone, you can hear interactions between units. We were in an adjoining unit (not traveling with the adjoined guests), so I am sure it was worse than a standalone room. That said, noise from the hallway and unit above was disruptive. Example, we could hear the people above us every time they walked or opened their patio door. Been here and done it, so probably won't be back, but enjoyed our time here.
