Blue Shades Motel

We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. We had a loft room and yes it does need a little updating but was still great. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are great, and the couple who managed the motel are lovely people. They went out of their way to help us. Parking in the back section where our room was can be a little tight and hit and miss but other than that no problems.. We would definitely stay again and recommend this motel.

We were stuck in town awaiting a car repair. Stayed in the big 2 room family room. Plenty of space, kitchen too, which was great. Staff were so helpful. Comfy beds. Affordable too. Double glazing reduced the road noise. Staff told us about the pub over the road - bit of a hidden gem.

Great location in Maryborough and easy to find. The parking sucked. We were in a family room and arrived late at night. The complex was tight to get into, and then nowhere to park. The room was lovely and had everything we needed for 1 night. The beds were comfortable. This has to be the only place I have stayed where the pillows were too firm/big! I only sleep on 1 pillow normally, but it felt like I was going to snap my neck lol, so I had to use a throw cushion. The room was clean, and had enough crockery and tea/coffee supplies for all of us. I love it when a shower cap is provided!! There was also a hair dryer. Would I stay here again? 100%.
