BlueBay Grand Esmeralda

We had an amazing stay at BlueBay Grand! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and relaxed. The resort is beautiful — stunning ocean views, clean and comfortable rooms, and plenty of fun activities to enjoy throughout the day. The food and drinks were great, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding service — especially from Jorge, one of the servers at the resort. Jorge was incredibly kind, professional, and always had a warm smile on his face. He made sure we were well taken care of every time we saw him, and his attention to detail and friendly attitude really stood out. Jorge, thank you for going above and beyond to make our vacation so special! Your hospitality made a huge difference, and we truly appreciated everything you did. We can’t wait to come back to Blue Bay — and we’ll be looking for Jorge when we do!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Irving is the man! Always bringing good energy and solid advice in the gym. You can tell he knows his stuff and genuinely wants to see people improve. The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and has a great vibe. The service is on point—everyone’s helpful and friendly. The hours are super convenient too, which makes it easy to fit a workout into any schedule. Highly recommend!

Room: completely outdated. There’s mold on the ceiling. Bathroom mirror is tarnished. We killed a cockroach on the last night. AC works but could be stronger - we had to leave a room key in always to keep it on. They do provide you with iron and mini blow dryer in the room. Food: you need to reserve restaurants at 0700am in concierge or through the app for the next day. Spots fill up quickly. Italian restaurant was not too good. Mexican was good! Oh, and you have to go to the buffet for dinner, you need to make a line to go in. I could not fathom that in an all inclusive. Anywhere you go they serve a lot of steak which was fresh. Pool: beautiful! Gets cleaned every night. In the morning, it is cold but by early afternoon is feels like a hot tub. No bar inside the pool which sucked because you constantly need to get out for drinks. Beach: DISGUSTING! It has seaweed everywhere and the water is brown. It also literally smells like a toilet. It was gross.we rented a jet ski and If you go deeper in, the water is actually clean and blue - so that’s an option. Drinks: watered down. You literally have to tell them to make it stronger and even then it’s straight ice. Staff: somewhat friendly. They just try to do their job and stay out of trouble. Nobody is amicable or there to conversate. We are big tippers and didn’t feel the urge to tip as often because we felt like they didn’t tailor to our needs . Like I said, the bare minimum. Overall, definitely doesn’t seem like a 4 star hotel .
