Bluesun Hotel Jadran

Bluesun Hotel Jadran is a true gem. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The location is perfect for those seeking privacy and peaceful, less crowded beaches. Everything is spotless, showing great attention to cleanliness. A special mention goes to Veso, the chef in the restaurant, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The transfer from Split airport took about an 1.5 hours with one drop-off stop on the way. Hotel staff at check-in were nice and polite and super efficient (we also received a complimentary non-alcoholic drink on arrival). The staff at this hotel were always polite and the hotel itself was impeccably presented and appeared clean and tidy in all areas. We stayed on a half board basis which suited us and the food both at breakfast and dinner was fantastic, with omlette's and other dishes being cooked to your liking. There was also plenty of choice whether you prefer the lighter meals (Salads, cheeses, fruits etc.) or meat oriented main dishes, where the main dishes were different on each evening. The views of the bay from the terrace were just fantastic and just enhanced the eating experience (if you were able to get a table as it seemed to be the preferred place to dine by most guests). The hotel has two pools, one on the upper level and an infinity pool on the lower level which is a stones throw from the pebble beach. If you are fortunate enough to stay in one of the junior suites on the ground level, you have an exclusive swim-up pool and your own sun loungers to enjoy, even though there were no issues in getting a lounger throughout our stay, no matter what time of day it was! There are also loungers located on the beach which are chargeable @10Euro each for the day. The hotel itself is a short walk from the village along the sea front pathway, where you will find a small selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants on your way to the harbour. There is probably enough places to eat to opt for the B&B board option if you prefer eating in different restaurants throughout your stay. One tip would be to buy a pair of beach shoes (12Euro) if you want to venture in to the sea as these are needed in my opinion) Overall, this was a great stay and I'd definitely go back to this hotel and resort.

Hotel looks nice and has modern interior. Located next to the see but a bit far from city center. Rooms and balconies are nice and spacious. Bathroom is a bit small. Staff were helpful and user friendly but missing touch of excellence. Example: We ordered a welcoming wine which we haven’t received. When we asked about it they did delivered it but without a bottle opener and ice. Food is good and no one will stay hungry. But for 5* hotel there are many things that should be improved. For example pancakes, waffles, marble cake etc. are all purchased in mass store and don’t have good taste. These things should be fresh and prepared in hotel kitchen. Breakfasts and dinners are every day the same, missing variety. Most dishes are not flavored or not flavored enough which makes it almost tasteless. Fruits are served/sliced as it was done by kids (different sizes and shapes). Another thing that needs additional attention is cleanliness of the exterior especially around the pools and toilets. SPA zone is not a SPA zone. It is 20-30m2 space with having one sauna and Turkish bath, 2 showers and 4 deck chairs and that’s it.
