Bluesun Hotel Marina

We stayed at Bluesun Hotel Marina Brela in late July 2025. After booking through the official hotel website, we not only received a confirmation but also detailed information about the hotel and its services. This saved us time and helped us plan our holiday more effectively. The room met our expectations and matched the photos — in some ways, it even exceeded them (especially the view). The hotel is located just a few meters from the beach, nestled among trees that provide shade along the promenade separating the hotel from the sea, creating an incredibly pleasant atmosphere. We were very glad we chose the half-board option with breakfast and dinner. The menu was varied and thoughtfully curated, offering something new every day. You could build your own meal using a wide range of fresh ingredients — fish, meat, poultry, side dishes, salads, fruits, and vegetables. Dessert lovers will appreciate the selection of ice cream and pastries available at dinner. There's even a pizzaiolo who makes several types of thin-crust pizza right in front of you. And for breakfast, you can order custom omelets and pancakes. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. A special heartfelt thanks to the reception team and the managers who helped us resolve an unexpected issue during our stay. Thanks in large part to their support, our vacation turned out to be both unforgettable and enjoyable. We definitely plan to return to Bluesun Marina more than once!

In general, the location is excellent. A short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. The nature, sea and the promenade are beautiful. The staff and the hotel are good. The big complaint is the poor food quality for breakfast and dinner. Of the 3 elevators, only one worked while we were there.

Terrible Experience – Not Even Close to 4 Stars This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The parking situation is a complete mess. The hotel’s parking is tiny and very poorly managed. We had to park the car far from the hotel, and when we needed it, we had to wait over an hour. Even worse, the car was blocked by another hotel guest’s vehicle—and the staff had no idea where that person was or how to move the car. Absolutely unacceptable. To make things worse, the staff at the reception were extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. The management showed zero interest in resolving our problems and refused to refund the parking even though it was clearly a disaster. The food was average, the place was overcrowded, and completely overpriced for what it offers. No beach towels available, which is ridiculous for a seaside hotel. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel—maybe a 3-star at best, and that’s being generous. Never again.
