Beautiful rustic and local village feel of the place. They were able to maintain an island vibe in a 5star resort. Service is top notch. Food is super tasty. Overall, a great place to stay and enjoy the beach with the family!
Checked in yesterday...very easy process, welcomed with a wonderful chilled beverage that tasted amazing...lemongrass in it. James welcomed us with a smile and checked us in easily and efficiently. We were then given a ride via golf cart to our room and shown the facilities by a well spoken gentleman. We sorted ourselves in the room , and changed into our bathers to explore the beach and then pools Awesome protected beach to swim in. Pools are nice and clean. Only downside is that the main pool in the centre is being refurbished and under demolition. I wasn't aware of this until after I booked the room, however its not too bad and I understand to build new , first you have to remove the old....
We had a deluxe room. It was pretty small but clean. The bathroom needs updating as it felt more fit for a motel than a hotel/beach resort. It was very crowded when we went here and I felt like the staff struggled to keep up with cleaning the area. The beach especially was not particularly appealing. Some trash on the sand and the water. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and had variety. My only concern is that it is served in the open restaurant so there were a lot of flies. Staff were very friendly, helpful, polite and quick. I don’t know how the hotel business works in the Philippines but I think it would serve the hotels on this beach strip to join together and form a committee to clean up this area. I think it would be more appealing and attract more tourists.
