Boa Vista Hotel & Spa Adults Only

We had a mediocre experience with this hotel. There were a lot of positives; the staff is friendly, the breakfast was quite good and we liked the pool area! Location was also great, except that right now it is construction work right outside the pool, so it is quite noisy. Our problem with this hotel was unfortunately the room. It was quite old, and smelled bad, with no wifi. We also didn’t get a double bed, just single beds pushed together. Lots of bugs on the floor, and the main problem was the «air condition» that made a LOT of noise, and didn’t make it especially cold either. Had we known all of this before we probably would have booked a different hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights (July 8–10) and I already regret it. The photos and description made it seem like a charming 4-star hotel, but in reality, it’s far from that. Yes, the view is beautiful probably the only thing that matches the online listing.The rooms are outdated and it’s definitely not up to 4-star standards. To make matters worse, there was very loud street construction right in front of the hotel during my stay, starting early in the morning. The noise made it impossible to relax, let alone sleep in. Nowhere on the website or during booking was this mentioned. For the price I paid, I expected comfort, peace, and quality nights. I don’t usually write reviews, but I hope this saves someone else from making the same mistake.

Absolutely terrible experience. First, we had booked a room with a double bed, but received one with two single beds. The air conditioning did not work at all, and the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The fridge was also broken and unusable. On top of that, the WiFi was very poor – almost no signal in the room. Even worse, there was a strong and constant sewage smell in both the corridor and our room, which made it very unpleasant to stay there. I can normally tolerate a lot, but this smell was simply too much. The bathroom and toilet were also not cleaned properly upon arrival. When we informed the reception about all of these problems, they said they would fix them but nothing was done during our stay. We were four people and got rooms on different floors. The two-person room that our friends stayed in was even worse than ours. None of our rooms had basic toiletries like conditioner, which should be standard in any hotel. The overall service was terrible, and the hotel condition was unacceptable. I’m not a picky guest, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Honestly, it’s strange that no one has mentioned these issues in previous reviews. This is not a 4-star hotel, more like 2 stars at best. I do not recommend it at all.
