My friends and I stayed here for a summer vacation. We enjoyed our stay, but we definitely have some notes to share. You may notice a lot of people in the reviews mentioning hidden fees. That caught our attention too, but the quick explanation is that these are "incidental holds", not fees. There's $10 if you lose a key (They give ACTUAL keys, not keycards), $10 if you lose the pool wristband, and $100 in case you trash the room. This $120 has the intentions of going back, unless something mentioned above comes up. I have to admit, as we were checking in, the person up front said that extra amount "Was the remaining amount due", which had my eyes op out of my head. I would suggest at least a change in verbiage, and that situation can be put to bed. I've seen people mention cleanliness, and I will say, other than the expected sand tracked in at the entrance, I didn't find anything worth mentioning. What IS worth mentioning is the maintenance of the hotel. The rooms offer a full-fledged kitchenette, and for the price offered for a spot by the beach, it is an unbelievable deal! But, in my friend's room, one of the knobs for the oven popped right off. A light had burned out in our room, and our friends room had one as well. The carpet leading up to the balcony showed some serious signs of wear and tear, making me wonder what decade it had been put in. The hotel could use some serious R&R, but overall, I appreciated the overall experience provided, and would come back again.

This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. How are they still open? It looks like this hotel has not been renovated in 20 years nor does it look like it’s up to code. Everything is super outdated and needs to be replaced. From the elevators to the carpets to the furniture. I’m shocked that they haven’t even upgraded their key system. They actually give you a regular key. The security is also in question as they building on the left does not require any code or card to get in. I’m super disappointed. This is false advertisement as their website makes it seem as if their rooms are nice. This hotel is worst than hotels I’ve stayed in 3rd world countries. Please save up your money and go somewhere else. The owners need to allocate funds to renovate, renovate, renovate asap!

DO NOT STAY THERE!!!! Terrible experience — worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I’m not s fussy person. I was staying at road motels sometime, but this one was worse!! The photos are misleading. The hotel has two buildings, but they only show the nicer one online. We paid for a room with an ocean view and balcony, we thought so, but got a dirty, smelly room with the view from the side of the building and they refused to change it. We paid $530 for 2 nights with no view! Can you imagine? Staff were rude and completely unhelpful. No customer service whatsoever. AND they charge $50 some fee I didn’t understand for. So they charged me $155 deposit at check in and I only got $105 back. They didn’t tell me about it 🤬 To make things worse, there was loud construction going on right outside our window and a trash chute nearby that made horrible noises and smelled terrible. The pool was dirty and the area wasn’t great as it was on photos! Never again — avoid this place at all costs!
